Meeting Iona was life changing. The first day we met Iona I sat patiently waiting for the evaluation and felt hopeless.  This had been our second time trying to get the help that my son needed. After the evaluation Iona let me know what was wrong with my son. She explained my son was hearing us as if he was under water because of fluid in his ear. I was baffled and asked a ton of questions. Iona further explained he would need surgery to remove the fluid, and tubes would need to be placed in his ear. The assurance in her voice and demeanor was everything I needed. She took her time and explained everything, so I knew what to expect. The ENT confirmed what Iona said and surgery was scheduled and my son started therapy. Iona was patient with my son and he made significant progress. Not only did he get his voice but his confidence increased.  The changes we have seen have been absolutely amazing. His progress is undeniable because of Iona help and experience. 

For context, My son was a few months shy of 3 years and was comprehending on maybe a 36 months level because of his speech. Today every milestone is being hit thanks to Iona. In fact, my son cannot stop talking and we can finally see his true personality. He is no longer shy and bashful.  Iona experience is invaluable. She works with compassion and care. You can’t teach that in school. Eternally,  grateful for Iona’s help. Pick the best and the best is Iona.
